Working with Brazil’s best-known director, Bruno Barreto, was definitely a treat. But along with that came some challenges. Not only did this film have me working with a script in a foreign language (Portuguese) but also in a foreign filmmaking language, using Brazilian standards on set so that our work in the US would work well for our post production team in Brazil.
